坤为地 - Kun-is-Earth Extend
外卦是坤，先天五行中属阳木。内卦是坤，后天五行中属阳土。
内卦外卦都是“坤”，所以卦名就叫“坤”。
青山被树，层峦叠翠。
我是“山”，为树木提供扎根的土壤，无怨无悔。
和“随”卦理一体两面。
坤有“伸”的意思，引申为“顺”。顺从而默默延伸。
The external trigram is Kun, belonging to the yang wood in the Primordial Trigram. The internal trigram is Kun, belonging to the yang earth in the Derived Trigram.
Both the internal and external trigrams are Kun, hence the name of the hexagram is Kun.
The mountains are covered by trees, and the peaks are layered with verdant greens.
I am the mountain, providing the soil for trees to root and grow, without complaints or regrets.
Together with the hexagram "Follow", the two sides are integrated.
Kun means "extend," which implies "compliance." Compliance leads to silent extending.
元、亨、利、牝马之贞。君子有攸往，先迷后得主，利。西南得朋，东北丧朋。安贞、吉
Self-sufficiency, consistency, sharpness and quickness, nd being upright and adhering to the right path as a mare in heat. A gentleman has his own way, he is first confused then finds his way, beneficial. The southwest gains friends and the northeast loses friends. Stick to being upright and adhering to the right path, which is a good omen for being lucky.
土上生木，大地之象。默默提供生存的土壤，好似温顺而健行的母马。我需要“心中有一匹母马”。所以说，元、亨、利、牝马之贞。
相传八卦从河图而来，而河图是从阴阳一体的“龙马”身上而来。周易是从乾坤开始，分阴阳。所以周易卦辞，乾用阳刚的“龙”，坤用阴柔的“马”（母马）。
聪明人随着大家一起行动做事，开始很迷茫，但马上就有了自己的主见，好事。所以说，君子有攸往，先迷后得主，利。
西南环境属“阳土”，可以生出更多的树；东北环境属“阴土”，会使土质松软。所以说，西南得朋，东北丧朋。
朋，古代货币单位，这里是朋比，同类的意思。
山平静安定，不会三心二意。所以说，安贞、吉。
Wood growing from the earth symbolizes the earth. The soil provides sustenance silently, like a gentle and healthy mare. I need "a mare in my heart." Therefore, it is self-sufficiency, consistency, sharpness and quickness, and being upright and adhering to the right path as a mare in heat.
It is said that the eight trigrams originated from the River Map, which came from the unity of yin and yang "dragon-horse." The Book of Changes starts with the division of yin and yang, with the Qian using the yang and rigid "dragon" and the Kun using the yin and soft "mare" (mother mare).
An intelligent person acts with others and starts off confused but quickly has his own opinion, a good thing. Therefore, a gentleman has his own way, he is first confused then finds his way, beneficial.
The environment in the southwest belongs to "yang soil" and can produce more trees; the environment in the northeast belongs to "yin soil" and makes the soil soft. Therefore, the southwest gains friends and the northeast loses friends.
The mountain is calm and stable, not fickle. Therefore, stick to being upright and adhering to the right path, which is a good omen for being lucky.
爻辞 - Line Commentary
初六。履霜，坚。冰至
Tread the frost and be firm. Ice to the end.
履，本义践踏；
霜，清晨，气温下降，露水结晶。
无中生有，建功立业，必然会遭受很多压力。
给自己良好的定位，顶住压力，利用压力磨砺自己，这样才能飞快的充实自己。
大地形成，夜露结霜，受外力压迫（践踏）多了，变得很坚硬，久而久之，就成了冰。所以说，履霜，坚。冰至。
这一爻说的是，宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来。
题外话，大爆炸之后宇宙冷凝，由引力而成星球。这就是大地的由来。
The creation of things from nothing, the establishment of a great cause, will inevitably lead to a lot of pressure. It is important to give oneself a good position, withstand the pressure, and use the pressure to sharpen oneself, so that one can quickly enrich oneself.
The formation of the earth, the frost formed by the night dew, is subjected to external pressure (trampling), becomes very hard, and over time, it becomes ice. Therefore, tread the frost and be firm. Ice to the end.
This line says that the sword's edge is sharpened from grinding, and the plum blossom fragrance comes from the bitter cold.
As a side note, after the Big Bang, the universe condensed and formed planets due to gravity. This is the origin of the earth.
六二。直、方、大；不习，无不利
Straight, square, and great; not practicing, there is nothing unfavorable.
习，习惯；学习。
越来越充实的自己，逐渐体现出大地的风采，纯正不移（直）、整然一体（方）、包容万物（大）。所以说，直、方、大；
兼收并蓄，无所不包。这种状态下，不需要额外的改变（去学习、去适应），没有不能解决的问题。所以说，不习，无不利。
这一爻说的是，以德服人，顺其自然。
The more one becomes enriched, the more one gradually embodies the style of the earth, being pure and straight, neat and integrated, and embracing all things. Therefore, straight, square, and great;
Inclusive and comprehensive, embracing everything. In this state, there is no need for extra change (to learn or adapt), and there are no problems that cannot be solved. Therefore, not practicing, there is nothing unfavorable.
This line says to govern with virtue and follow the natural course.
六三。含章，可贞。或从王事，无成有终
Contain good and be resolute; it may come from the king's affairs, and may not achieve success but will get finalized.
章，华美的花纹。
面对外在竞争对手，胸怀锦绣而不显露，脚踏实地积蓄力量，才能保证心中正定，不会在没壮大之前就被竞争对手提前吃掉。所以说，含章，可贞；
反过来说，一旦表现出来，就会参与到竞争中去，这时候不能以个人成功为目的，要脚踏实地，做事有始有终。所以说，或从王事，无成有终。
这一爻说的是，脚踏实地，适当展示自己的才华。
Facing external competitors, having a beautiful heart but not revealing it, and being down-to-earth and accumulating strength can ensure a positive mind and not be eaten by competitors before it grows. So, contain good and be resolute;
On the other hand, once it is shown, it will participate in competition, at which point it cannot take personal success as the goal. Instead, it must be down-to-earth and do things systematically. So, it may come from the king's affairs, may not achieve success but will get finalized.
This line says, be down-to-earth and showcase your talent appropriately.
六四。括囊，无咎无誉
A tight purse, will not receive praise, but will also not bring harm or danger.
脚踏实地，做事中规中矩，滴水不漏，也不去奢求什么，就像扎紧的口袋。不会受到赞誉，却也不会有什么祸患。所以说，括囊，无咎无誉。
这一爻说的是，严格自律，谨言慎行。
Grounded, doing things by the rules, watertight and not seeking for anything more, like a tight purse. Will not receive praise, but will also not bring harm or danger.
So it says, strict self-discipline, cautious in words and actions.
六五。黄裳，元吉
Yellow Robe, Great Fortune with self-sufficiency.
黄，五行中土的颜色，指中央，隐含万事万物之本的意思；
裳，下衣。古人穿的裙的一种，不是裤子，男女都穿。
量力而行，做好分内之事，功成不居，却造成大好局面。
已经完全适应环境，更进一步成为环境的基石。为广大群众所接受和习惯。就像生养我们的大地一样，好啊！所以说，黄裳，元吉。
这一爻描述的景象是，大地啊！母亲！
Act within your means, do what is within your power, do not seek recognition for your achievements, but create a favorable situation.
Having fully adapted to the environment, further becoming the cornerstone of the environment. Accepted and accustomed by the general public. Like the earth that nourishes us, it's great! So, Yellow Robe, Great Fortune with self-sufficiency.

上六。龙战于野，其血玄黄
The dragon battles in the wilderness and its blood is in dark yellow.
大地延伸到极致，与天接壤。乾为天，太阳以龙指代。龙战于野，其血玄黄描述的是夕阳西下，太阳没入大地，带来黑暗的模样。大地包容万物，最后天地俱黑，万籁俱寂。
这一爻说的是，黑暗前最后的绚烂光明。
The earth extends to the extreme and borders with the sky. The sky is represented by the character "Qian" and the sun is symbolized by the dragon. The dragon battles in the wilderness and its blood is described as dark yellow, representing the fading of the sun and the arrival of darkness. The earth encompasses everything and ultimately both heaven and earth are enveloped in darkness, with all sounds hushed.
